Lost and Found

Ok so its been a while, but the past few months have been eventful to say the least, and to be honest I should really rename this blog, but Im not going to because I like the name. You see Im no longer a "Misplaced Geordie" I am back living in my home town of Newcastle upon Tyne, thing is I still feel Misplaced,it feels odd to feel like a stranger in your home town.

This blog started out to be all about food and for the most part it is, but I havent done much cooking lately and thats probably because I dont have my own kitchen right now. That will all change Im sure that I will one day be settled in a place I can call home, and be cooking up a storm.

I know this sounds depressing but there is a silver lining to all this, and that is I get to see my fabulous family who I have missed so much. It was amazing on Christmas Day, it was the first time I was able to have both my kids with me on Christmas day for nine years, and we had a ball. These kids my are my rock, so supportive and some how they always manage to say the right things and if I ever need them they are there. What more could a mother want.

So pleased to see you blogging Chris & glad you had a lovely Christmas with your kids. Wouldn't be without mine so totally know where you're coming from.
Fancy coming back to the worst winter we've had in years though lol

I'm so glad to see you blogging again Chris and to hear what a fabulous time you had with your kids at Xmas.
I can totally understand how it feels strange to you coming back to your home town after years away living in the States.
Each year when I return home for a visit down south I see tremendous differences which after a few weeks make me homesick for Tahoe.
Things will get easier as time goes on and you will settle in back home of that I'm sure once you get set up with a place of your own.
Love
Sue

What made you come back to UK? Maybe a special person in your life? As i live abroad also i am interested to know what makes people come back.
Sure you must have a nice boyfriend here to make it worth it.
We always go where love is.
Have a wonderful time.
